Darnell Campbell, B.S.

Bio

Darnell Rashard Campbell Moore is originally from Costa Rica and is currently working on getting his Masterโ€™s degree in biomedical engineering degree from the joint program at University of Texas at San Antonio and University of Texas Health and Science Center at San Antonio. He works at the MDI lab since fall of 2018, and currently leads the Combat Suction Device project and co-leads on the Novel Endotracheal Tube System project. He was a medical student at Universidad Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas and Universidad Iberoamericana in Costa Rica where he gained hands on experience with cadaveric dissections while he was attending. He graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2018 with a BS in biology and worked in the Automotive Vehicle Systems (AVS) Lab on campus as a Research Assistant where he became a licensed sUAS pilot and obtained an undergraduate research grant for funding research in haptics. Pastimes include martial arts, hiking, and camping.
